The frame
The maximum stiffness and the strength are the two properties that are emphasized when making a motorcycle. This is because these features are in form of two pieces of steel-tube frame known to give the BMW GS1200 the much needed strength. To start with, the front main frame is known to come directly from the GS 1200 and gives the much needed support.
On the other side, the rear frame is good in giving the support of the main and side stands. The rear stand is also modified in its geometric configuration so that it can be able to give much support. Another new tubular frame structure must be used in the power engine. This frame structure is used to integrate the whole power unit so that it can be a load element. The load element is also helpful in reducing weight in the GS1200, hence gives it a light body weight.
There is also a modified frame that is used as the main stand holder in most of the GS 1200 machines. The modified stand holder makes it possible for the rider to be able to lift up by holding the frame especially when you want to park the motorcycle.
