The engine
The engine is well protected by the stable and stainless steel pipes. This protection is very helpful such that in case of any problem that arises when riding on the off road or if you are riding on the tarmac, the involuntary encounters can cause some damage hence the need to protect them by the stainless steel pipes. It is good to note that the aluminium cover is sometimes used since it is of high quality and helps to prevent any traces of tough riding conditions that are in most cases left behind on the valve covers.
A flat twin power unit that is used in many engines is helpful in giving the BMW GS1200 very superior powers. The maximum output from these engines is 74 kW which is equivalent to 100 bhp. It also has a very high torque speed that is 115nm which is equivalent to 85 1b-ft. The BMW GS1200 is fitted with additional special equipments on the electrical power consuming items that have made it easy for the supply of energy to be received. The energy supply received is reliable as a result of the alternator that has been upgraded to the standard version. This type of engine is very powerful.
